Wild Dolphins
I can without shadow of doubt highly recommend Ross and his amazing sea safari tour.
He went above and beyond to ensure my lifetime ambition of watching wild dolphins was fulfilled, we were surrounded by groups of them playing around the boat, they cruised with us and played in the boats waves.
Quite frankly Ross is now firmly my personal hero, he's fantastic with children with special needs taking great care to answer questions and give them his vast knowledge of all things sea.
Just book your trip, he's amazing and the wildlife is just incredible.

Sunset Cruiseliner Tour
I booked a last minute Sunset and Cruise Liner trip with my mum, nan and daughter and it was absolutely stunning. We saw three cruise liners, the sunset and lucky enough to see dolphins too.
We have truly made some special memories at such a bargain price.
The boat was stunning. Super safe, clean and comfy.
Ps, Ross is the nicest and friendliest which made the whole experience so much nicer.

The perfect way to spend a summers evening. We did the 2 hour Wildlife Cruise. The highlight was the dolphins, who kindly joined us for over an hour. We then went to see the cruise ships The new boat is beautiful. I cannot recommend it enough. We would happily do it again and again. We will definitely be joining Spot On Charters for another trip soon. Many thanks 😊

Epic sunset cruise
Well after nearly a decade of visiting Devon, tonight we had the best experience ever. Spot on charters were epic, dolphins, porpoise, sunsets and cruise liners left us all speechless. Ross was great and I can’t wait to come and book again next year. After a rubbish year we got some wonderful back, thank you xx

We went on a 2 1/2 hour wildlife/ sunset trip on a beautiful sunny day. Access was easy from the ferry pontoon and the boat is spacious with only 12 people on board so plenty room to move around., and our 2 small dogs were welcomed on board. The weather and sea state was very calm, but as it is (I think?!) a twin hull cat it’s a good smooth boat if it’s bumpy.
Anyway….. the trip…. The trip was amazing!! Our first wildlife encounter was with the harbour’s resident seal who was hauled out sunbathing, then within half an hour we encountered our first dolphins…. Ross informed us they were short beaked common dolphins. Within minutes we were surrounded with the pod bow riding, breaching, fishing, chasing. The clear water made for excellent viewing of the bow riding. Over the next hour or so we must’ve seen a hundred dolphins. At one point Ross cut the engine and we heard their whistles which was really special.
My highlights were the very playful baby or, as Ross aptly described him “rugby ball with a tail”…. you can actually see the foetal folds on him under the water, and the one playing with seaweed. The sunset made for some beautiful photos, the scenery is beautiful and after the sunset getting up close to the cruise ships anchored in the bay finished off a wonderful trip.
I’ve been on many dolphin trips around the UK and this was definitely a favourite (can you tell from my long review!!) I absolutely recommend it!! Thank you!

Best Boat Trip Ever - Beats Florida
Ross was so helpful and kept us informed prior to the trip on if it would go ahead based on weather conditions etc. Luckily the weather was fantastic. The boat was beautiful, comfortable and spotless. As only 12 passengers allowed on board, there is plenty of room to freely move around the boat and get spectacular views. Ross pointed out the wildlife like seals and porpoise, but the highlight was the four pods of dolphins we saw on the trip. I didn’t even realise we had Dolphins in England, I thought they preferred warm waters. Ross just turned the engine off and we watched them showing off, it was an absolutely awesome trip and the best ££ you will ever spend. Will definitely come back next time we go to Brixham.

Excellent
Absolutely awesome 2 hour evening trip. We we're lucky enough to go during a heatwave when the sea was super calm, we could even hear the dolphins! Boat is great, really clean and spacious with lovely viewing platform at the front. Saw loads of dolphins, some seals and porpoises too, whilst allowing the animals their space to be in control of how much they interacted with the boat. Highly recommend and cannot wait to return! Thank you!

Wow!!! Booked as a last minute booking, lovely boat with the loveliest owners and there son Toby! We saw pourpoises, a pod of dolphins, cruise liners and seals! The best afternoon I’ve had in a long time, I would happily book right now to go again! The owners are so informative and Toby the little tour guide is fab!! Thankyou so much

Amazing evening boat trip!
Saw lots of dolphins!
Fabulous trip around the bay! We went on a 2 hr trip last night, perfect sunny evening, saw lots of dolphins! And the coastline of Brixham, amazing geology! Catamaran spotlessly clean, Ross a lovely chap, highly recommend this great boat trip!

A wonderful afternoon trip
not to be missed
We have lived in Brixham for two years and had visited many times before. We often see seals and the occasional distant glimpse of dolphins. We went with Ross on his fine boat 'Spot On' and he found two separate pods of dolphins. They swam and played alongside for quite a time. It was a magical experience. The trip was excellent value for money and we will definitely go again with friends and family. Thank you Ross and Jess for making this possible. You cannot guarantee to find them but if they are out in the bay then Ross will find them.

A trip to remember
This trip was rearranged from the previous week as the weather postponed the original. This turned out well as for our trip we had friends visiting who were able to join us.
Ross was really good with communicating which was also the same on the trip.
The boat was excellent and with 12 people there was plenty of space to take in the views and watch what was to come.
There was a good omen when we set off and hadn't left the harbour when we saw a seal enjoying the late sun on one of the marina pontoons.
The trip had everything from coastal views, sunset, sea birds and then the main event which was a pod of dolphins, perhaps 20 (difficult to count as they were everywhere) and included several babies tracking their mothers. They stayed with us around and under the boat for about 15 minutes.
If that wasn't enough on the way back in we went close around the Queen Victoria moored in Torbay. It had all its lights on which made seeing it close up superb.
Overall we were blown away and can't recommend it highly enough
